The Clinical Prevention and Population Health Curriculum Framework (Framework) is a national resource developed to guide integration of prevention and population health content into health professions education. It provides a common core of knowledge for clinical health professions around individual and population‐oriented prevention and health promotion and supports alignment of curricula with accreditation requirements and other educational standards.

The Clinical Prevention and Population Health Curriculum Framework is a product of the interprofessional Healthy People Curriculum Task Force convened by the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research.  The mission of the Task Force is to increase the inclusion of core clinical prevention and population health content and interprofessional learning experiences in health professions education.
