Curriculum Framework Revision (Version 5)
April 2026 The Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) is pleased to announce the publication of the fifth revision of the Clinical Prevention and Population Health Curriculum Framework. This framework represents the collective effort of the Healthy People Curriculum Task Force and dedicated faculty from across the health professions over the past two years. The Curriculum Framework is used nationally to guide prevention and population health education. |
The Clinical Prevention and Population Health Curriculum Framework (Framework) is a national resource developed to guide integration of prevention and population health content into health professions education. It provides a common core of knowledge for clinical health professions around individual and population‐oriented prevention and health promotion and supports alignment of curricula with accreditation requirements and other educational standards.
